1850 Mail Coach
For example, traveling by “Extrapost” from Klagenfurt to Vienna lasted 5 days!
The mail coaches of that time carried not only letters and parcels but also passengers.
The front place was reserved for a post clerk who drove a horse (in this case two horses), and he sold tickets as well.
Of course, he was ready to help his passengers.
This mail coach was built in about 1850 and was exemplarily restored in the post workshop.
